Rowlett cornerback Hilbert Jackson (6-0, 180) said he has orally committed to play for North Texas.

And Jasmine Godbolt, a 6-0 forward from Garland Naaman Forest, said Thursday that she has orally committed to play women's basketball for North Texas.

Oral commitments are non-binding. The first day basketball players in the Class of 2009 can sign national letters of intent is Nov. 12. The earliest a football player in the Class of 2009 can sign a national letter of intent is Feb. 4.
